Goodbye, guests

I love houseguests, and I love hosting parties. In the past two weeks though, we've had one game night, one poker night, one housewarming party, one jewelry party (Dave loves his sterling silver anklet), one BBQ, one friend from Minneapolis and one cousin from England. It's time to have our house back.

That being said, it was a little sad to say goodbye to Dave's cousin Ian today. I saw him in London for a couple of hours last year, but Dave hasn't seen him for a few years. Ian came from Alaska to Iowa, where we spent two days showing him some highlights. I took him to see the famous bridges of Madison county, we saw the capitol, we went to Rock Bottom Brewery, and we walked around Lake Ahquabi this morning. Not bad for only one full day.
