We replaced all our lightbulbs with fluorescent bulbs a couple days ago, inspired by Al Gore's movie An Inconvenient Truth. If you haven't seen it yet, make it the next movie you rent. We agreed with the critic who said that it's the only movie you'll watch after which you'll demand, "more scientific charts and graphs, please!"
