Welcome back to Eugene

Rainy weather...you may have heard about the floods in the Pacific Northwest. No floods here, and the rain isn't coming down too hard, but I'd prefer to walk to my test tomorrow morning in soft sunshine, birds chirping, clouds parting to give me divine inspiration.

I'm resisting freak-out mode. I have received many emails of encouragement--thank you! Thanks to M for reminding me to stay calm, as it's counter-productive to let the anxiety take over.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

mini-freak-out. Out of my system now.

For better or worse, I will be finished writing the darn thing 25.25 hours from now. Please keep me in your prayers. I'll let you know how it goes (but only if it goes well, which, of course, it will).

And now for some last-minute studying. I think I'll go down my list of genres per century and make sure I can list at least one piece (to know in detail) in every spot. Here I go! Hopefully my last ever history test!

See you on the other side...

I'm definitely thinking of you ... and praying, as I'm a "pray-er".

So go for it!

But remember that what really matters in life is a good oboe reed. ;-)
